This Thanksgiving, I was lucky enough to sneak home for a quick holiday with my family. I was also lucky enough to have the coolest mama around.  So cool that she took me on our first mother daughter trip to Vegas. We had so much fun, went to once in a lifetime shows and were able to get a lot of quality time in. It was so needed and so so much fun! One day we spent a few hours looking through some old family photos. These albums have been around forever.  We were always told "If there is a fire, you grab the albums and GET OUT." and I can see why my mom put so much importance on them. I think it sparked my inner need to visually 'document' everything, and it was really great to have them to look back at now. I get to see my family's past from their own perspective.
