If you live somewhere other than the equator chances are you own a coat or jacket of some kind. If you live on the equator...I guess you can just replace the word coat with, bikini and try to ignore my cold, frozen tears.
Eventually that thin lining in your coat gives up and splits...on the coldest day of the year.
So what do you do? Run out and drop half your paycheck on a new winter coat?
OF COURSE NOT! How will you afford a dozen cronuts this weekend?!?
This is a super simple fix that I think everyone should be able to do.
Keep Your Pride In Your Pants and Your Money In The Bank
it may not be able to 'Break the Internet' or hold a champagne glass, the one talent my butt does have is wearing out the back side of all my favorite jeans. We've all been there, about to slip into our favorite denim duds only to find a hole somewhere there should not be a hole...or four in my case (see photographic evidence below).
Let's face it, jeans get better with time, I'd even say right when denim starts to get holes is when it starts to really fit you best. So stop tossing out those jeans, they make your butt look so good!

With the start of a new year, many people find themselves trying to weed out the things in their lives they no longer need or break those bad habits they have been meaning to kick. Personally, I try not to make resolutions at the start of a new year. If I don't REALLY want to make the change and just make a resolution because it's 'what you are supposed to do' I will end up 'failing' fast. Instead, I try to set smaller monthly goals and a couple bigger goals that will take more time to accomplish.
Right now, a small goal we have been working on is maintaining and increasing the cooking we do at home instead of ordering in. My husband (Todd) got me (us) a crock-pot for x-mas and it has already made this goal seem like an easy one we'll be able to tackle in no time. I have plans to share our favorite recipes with you as we start to experiment more.
A larger goal I've been working on is one I had set for myself a few months ago. I want to attempt to fix and mend broken or damaged things before running out to get new things. As you are probably aware by now, I have lots of piles of projects, things to mend, things to make, projects to try and things to ... pile up. One said pile has been growing and is full of items I love but need to replace.
